Vox is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, who has worked in mental health for 20 years. He uses a straight forward individualized approach in working with his clients. He holds a dual Masters degree in Expressive Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling and can incorporate art, music, writing, and movement at my clients request. The Arts can help facilitate feelings or emotions that are difficult to express in words. Vox loves working with those who are in the LGBTQ+ community.

He currently sees clients in both Massachusetts and Texas virtually.

  • 2003-2006, Dr. Franklin Perkins school- Residential staff for children with severe mental health and behavioral issues

  • 2006-2007, FLLAC Educational Collaborative- Paraprofessional for children with severe developmental disabilities

  • 2008-2009, Horizons for Homeless Children- Case management and therapeutic services for homeless children and families

  • 2009-2010, Bournewood Hospital- Expressive Arts Therapist Intern and group leader on inpatient and detox units

  • 2010-2012, Bournewood Hospital- Expressive Arts Therapist, MA and group leader on inpatient units including: Adolescent, Adult Intensive Treatment, Dual Diagnosis, and Detox/ Chemical Dependency units.
